Free tests start with no account and no credit card. Your work is saved on this device, so closing the tab mid-test does not lose it.

Why this exists

Everyone gives you more questions. Almost nobody tells you what to do next.

You can already take official tests for free, and you should. What you can’t easily do afterwards is answer the only question that matters — which of these do I keep getting wrong, and what do I do about it tomorrow? Bluebear is built around the part that comes after the score.

One log, across every test

Your questions don’t disappear when the test ends. They collect in one table you can filter by result, section, domain, skill or passage type — and it keeps going across every test you sit, not one at a time.

Accuracy per skill, not per test

Your answer rate on each skill, on this test and across all of them. That’s the number that tells you whether transitions are actually a problem or you had one bad module.

A ranked list, not a wall of charts

Study Priorities names the skills to work on next, in order, and links straight into the questions that put them there.

What’s included

Everything below comes with a free account.

The free account is not a stripped demo — the score reports, the error log, the vocabulary notes and the full analytics are all in it, and it doesn’t expire. What a pass buys is the premium test library.

Full-length practice tests

Complete digital-SAT-format tests, timed module by module in the real adaptive shape — two Reading & Writing modules, then two Math. Test day shouldn’t be the first time you’ve sat through one start to finish. You can also sit a single section when that’s all you have time for.

Real score reports

Total out of 1600, the Reading & Writing and Math split, module by module — and every question, with the correct answer and a written explanation.

The error log

Every question from every test you’ve sat, in one table you can filter by result, section, domain, skill or passage type — so “what do I keep getting wrong” is a filter, not a memory exercise.

Vocabulary notes

The words that keep costing you points, collected as you meet them — instead of a list of 500 you’ll never finish.

Analytics that point somewhere

Answer rates by domain, skill and passage type, tracked over time — and a ranked answer to the only question worth asking: what should I work on next?

How it works

Practice. Focus. Improve.

STEP 01

Practice on real test material

Every test here is built from real digital SAT administrations — not questions invented to look like the SAT. Full length, in the real adaptive shape and the real timing. No credit card, and if you close the tab it waits for you.

STEP 02

Focus on what’s actually costing you

The report doesn’t stop at a score. Answer rates by domain, skill and passage type separate the weakness you keep repeating from the one bad module — so your focus area is a thing the data picked, and you can see why it picked it.

STEP 03

Improve with a plan built from your results

Work back through every question you missed, with the correct answer and a written explanation. Study Priorities then ranks what to do next and links straight into the questions that put it there — your study plan, not a generic checklist.

Questions

The ones people actually ask.

Do I need an account to take a test?

No. If a free test is open you can start it straight away and sit the whole thing anonymously. You get your total score at the end; making a free account is what opens the question-by-question review, and it moves that test onto your account with its error log intact.

What’s free and what costs money?

A free account gives you the 2025 SAT tests, the score reports, the full question-by-question review, the error log, vocabulary notes and all the analytics, and it does not expire. What a membership adds is the premium test library — the newest full-length tests. Free tests stay free.

Will I be charged again?

Only on the Minimum Pass, which is a monthly membership: $29 is charged every month until you cancel it, and you can cancel any time from Settings. Billing stops straight away and you keep access to the end of the month you have already paid for. The Lifetime Membership and the Full-Year Pass are single payments — those never renew and there is nothing to cancel.

What happens when my pass runs out?

You keep your account and everything you have already done — every result, your error log, your notes — and you go back to free access. Nothing is deleted. A Lifetime Membership doesn’t run out.

Is this the official College Board test?

No. Bluebear is an independent practice platform built in the digital SAT format, and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the College Board. The official tests are free in Bluebook and you should take those too — we’d say that even if you never paid us anything.

How long is a full-length test?

2 hours 14 minutes of testing — two 32-minute Reading & Writing modules and two 35-minute Math modules, the same shape as the real thing. If you close the tab partway through, it waits for you. Some tests are single-section, and each card says which.

Your next test date is closer than it looks.

Sit one full-length test tonight, and know by tomorrow what to work on.
